For smaller sections, a fold-down washing line is a good option. These fit neatly against and wall or fenceline when not in use. The Austral Standard is the largest single folding clothesline on the market. With this washing line you get a more compact unit without sacrificing line space – you still get 28 metres.

Standard fold down lines come in a range of colours to suit your property.

The Austral Standard 28 is a large single folding frame clothesline. Colours available are Woodland Grey, Black, Surfmist or Classic Cream.

  • 2400mm x 1500mm frame size
  • 28.5m line space
  • Suitable for 1-4 people
  • 12 lines in total
  • Line spacing is 13cm for wider spacing and 6.5cm for narrower spacing.
  • Side profile when folded down is 60mm
  • Recommended area 2450mm x 1800mm. (An additional 300mm should be allowed for operational ease).
  • Pre-assembled side arms for easy installation
  • Length may be reduced to fit shorter distance
  • May be wall or ground mounted using the optional Fold Down Ground Mount Kit
